From Niccole:

Planning your special event involves many logistical details. Below, I’ve answered the most common questions my clients have about my performance services, logistical requirements, and booking process. If you have a question that isn't covered here, please feel free to reach out directly!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My primary performance specialty is as a solo flutist and pianist, offering a refined, elegant musical atmosphere for your ceremony and cocktail hour. I do not provide solo violin or other string instrument services directly. However, I am a seasoned collaborator and am happy to work alongside other professional musicians—such as violinists or guitarists—to create the perfect ensemble for your event. If you have a specific ensemble in mind, we can discuss your vision, and I can coordinate with my network of talented local colleagues to bring that vision to life.

  • As an experienced musician and educator, I guide you through the process of selecting repertoire that perfectly matches the atmosphere of your event. I specialize in creating custom arrangements of modern and pop songs that make your ceremony feel uniquely yours.

If you already know what music you want to have, that’s wonderful! I love taking special requests.

  • Yes. I arrive fully equipped with professional-grade sound reinforcement suitable for most indoor and outdoor settings. If your venue has specific requirements, we will coordinate these details during our planning session.

  • Absolutely. I am very comfortable performing in outdoor environments throughout the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas. I require a flat, stable, and shaded area (or a protective canopy) to ensure the highest quality sound and to protect my instruments from the elements.

  • I am fully prepared for off-grid performances. I utilize professional, battery-powered sound reinforcement systems that provide high-quality audio in remote settings, such as beach or garden weddings, without needing access to an electrical outlet.

  • I am based in Camarillo and serve the entire Ventura County and Santa Barbara region, including Ojai and Thousand Oaks. I am happy to discuss travel arrangements for events outside of this area.

  • Yes. I carry professional liability insurance, which is often required by venues. I am happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your coordinator once your date is confirmed.

  • My standard attire is professional black, which is elegant and appropriate for formal events. However, I am happy to coordinate my attire to complement your wedding colors or the desired atmosphere of your event—just let me know your preferences during our planning session!
